A Busy Day

Today we had a very busy day we started out by attending a stake picnic at a nearby park. Steve and Ali played Frisbee and the girls played on the toys. There were plenty of big trees so we had shade to sit under while we visited and rested. Around 12:00 we had a potluck lunch.

After lunch we headed to the mall to make one final purchase for Ali's school stuff and then made a return to another store. you know the things you realize you really don't like once you get home.
When we got home we started on the long awaited jam making project we cut and smashed all the strawberries and raspberries and then realized we didn't have the pectin. I took all 4 girls with me to the store so Steve could cut and edge the lawn and then we hurried home to finish our project.
By the time we were done we had 14 jars of jam and we even had a fairly clean kitchen. Don't we just look like we are having fun?

I bet the girls loved making jam and that they're proud of themselves! You should be proud of yourself too Stacie; you're amazing!!

I can't decide which impresses me more-that you made jam with 4 girls or that you took all 4 girls to the store with you! That's a big task! You're such a fun mom, Stace!
